As I see people struggle with the “to open, or not to open, and how” questions, I dumbstruck with how few seem to notice that there are a good number of businesses that have operated all the way through this thing.
Let’s give some credit to these folks. They all made daily adaptations. They still are.
It would seem much wiser to learn from them than to pretend they don’t exist and try to solve the problems they have already solved.
Many of their adaptations are basically putting into force the first set of guidelines we were given: keep your distance and wash and sanitize hands.
Now, I gotta go. I just ordered pet food online, the store sent me an email that it’s ready to be picked up. When I get there, I will call them and they will bring it out and put it in the trunk of my car for me.
BTW…I couldn’t have done that 3 weeks ago.
