I wonder how many screens have been saved by screensavers.

I guess that was a random thought.

Have environmentalist ever encouraged us to set our screensaver to a blank screen? Seems like that’d be a simple way to lower our carbon footprints.

  1. im not sure about the new ones, but the old crt monitors could definitely get a ‘burned’ image on their face. 90s era arcade games had this problem. im not sure at all about newer monitors.
